Dr. Steven Herzog
Dr. Steven Herzog, a Chicago native, is a 1977 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He served his internship and residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, and received his Master of Science degree there as well. He subsequently taught at the Medical Center for nine years on a full-time basis, where he had faculty appointments in the Colleges of Dentistry and Medicine and also served on the Graduate College faculty. He was responsible for the training of dental students and oral and maxillofacial surgery residents, as well as performing and supervising research.
Dr. Herzog is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a member of local, state, and national societies of dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. He is an elected member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor societies, as well as the Odontographic Society, the New York Academy of Sciences, and the Chicago Dental Forum. He has lectured widely and authored numerous papers published in refereed journals, and has been a consultant to the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition, Dr. Herzog is an Attending Surgeon at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
Dr. Herzog lives in the Chicago area with his wife and two children.
